For 45 years, the People and Mission of the Central Texas Food Bank have made it a Good Neighbor.

Designed in gratitude by a graduate of the CTFB Culinary Training Program, The Good Neighbor honors the important story of an important organization.

Here is how The Good Neighbor tells the CTFB's story of Abundance, Nourishment, Service, and Inclusivity.

Abundance

The Good Neighbor is a (everything but the) kitchen sink cookie, with ingredients that seem random but find order in the chaos. This represents the CTFB's primary operation, orchestrating a large variety of donated and rescued foods to provide millions of meals for people in our communities. Turning waste into Abundance.

Nourishment

The types of ingredients in The Good Neighbor are those you'd find across the meals that the CTFB provides: breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner, representing a full day of Nourishment.

Service

The eight key flavors in The Good Neighbor represent the eight hours that every staff member and volunteer put into a full day of Service.

Inclusivity

The Good Neighbor was designed so that every neighbor can taste it, with natural ingredients chosen for maximum Inclusivity.
